Responsibilities include identifying requirements, assessing capabilities and gaps, managing relationships with allies and partners, assessing and recommending data-sharing architectures, and supporting the development of data-sharing agreements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Recent experience working in policy, planning, and requirements at Headquarters Air Force or Major Command levels is highly desirable.

  • Experience with or knowledge of the JCIDS process and DOTMLPF-P framework for requirement identification and capability gap analysis is preferred.
  • Experience in research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) for military environmental sensing and analysis applications (e.g., observing systems, modeling, data analytics, AI/ML) is beneficial.
  • Experience working in or planning for military operations in Arctic (cold-weather) environments is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Geoscience, Environmental Science, Meteorology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
